Tarot Card Reading for beginners

Today we are going to get into Tarot. Playful card divination started back in the 14th century by a game call Mamluk in Europe. Tarot is a process derived from numerology and you standard playing card deck. The first tarot deck was a game played by wealthy aristocrats similar to the childhood game MASH. In a normal tarot deck you will have about 78 cards. these cards are split up into Major arcana, Minor arcana. Presumably originating in the 17th century, the Tarot de Marseille is one of the most common types of tarot deck ever produced. This is where we get our modern day understanding of card reading. This tarot deck is very similar to a normal card deck. Each of these categories have Ace, King, Queen, and 1-10.

There are 22 major arcana and 56 minor arcana. These cards all have universal meanings and understandings. There are many different themes when it comes to card reading. You will find thing like gypsy tarot, animal tarot, energy tarot, hoodoo tarot, orisha tarot, etc. Each deck will have major and minor arcana but they may make different connections to the cards meanings, even give them different names.

When you do a reading for someone you are becoming a messenger between this world and another. Most readers believe that their messages come from God or a supreme being. With that being said it is very important to pay attention to your intent. In the spiritual world anything done with negative feeling behind it will produce negative things so you want to make sure you are in the correct spiritual place before you start reading someone.
